Flight
New York City is serviced by three major airports. EWR is in New Jersey, and only convenient if you're staying in Manhattan. Otherwise, it will take you some time and multiple transfers to get to Brooklyn.
Travel Note
EWR — We recommend taking ride share or taxi. If you'd like to take public transportation, Amtrak or EWR Airport Express will take you into Manhattan. LGA — Take the free Q70 shuttle which drops you off at Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Ave Station. From there, you can take the subway (E,M,F,R, and 7 trains). JFK — Take the free AirTrain that will drop you off at the Howard Beach - JFK Station. From there, you can take the subway (A train). Alternatively, you can take LIRR after the AirTrain (you'll need to buy a separate ticket for this train). Airport taxis have a flat rate into Manhattan ($70 for JFK / $52 for LGA) + Weekday surcharges. Rideshare is also available.
Train
We recommend having your credit card stored in your Apple/Google Wallet. Make sure to toggle "Express Transit" on so that you can tap into any subway station or bus (even at LGA or JFK). Otherwise, tap your credit card directly through the turnstiles. Please note that you'll need to purchase a separate ticket for other commuter lines (Amtrak, LIRR, or Newark Airport Express).
