Honestly, this is always a stressful question for us too. We’re not going to pretend we fully understand the difference between “black tie optional” and “semi-formal” — so let’s keep it simple. We just ask that you wear something nice and comfortable, and if possible, stick to a neutral fall color palette (think earth tones, warm neutrals, rust/copper, and soft browns). This will help everything look more cohesive in our family and group photos. Bottom line: wear something you feel good in — no need to overthink it!
You better bring them babies! This is a family-friendly weekend, and we’d love to have your little ones there to celebrate with us.
The wedding will be held inside an open-air pavilion. It offers the feel of being outdoors while still providing some coverage. Since it’s open to the elements, please dress appropriately for fall weather. In case of inclement weather, the pavilion can be enclosed to keep everyone comfortable.
Late October in Pigeon Forge is beautiful — think crisp fall air, colorful leaves, and cool mountain mornings. During the day, temperatures usually range from the low 60s to mid-70s°F, but it can drop to the 40s or 50s°F in the evenings. We recommend packing layers — sweaters, jackets, and comfy clothes you can adjust as the temperature changes. And don’t forget comfortable shoes if you plan on exploring the area or joining any outdoor activities!
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Parkside Resort. We’re really sad your furry friends can’t join us — we love them too!
