We're Getting Married!

Alison and Jimmy were set up on a blind date through Julia and a mutual friend. Before meeting on their first date, Alison was enamored by Jimmy's impeccable use of punctuation and grammar via text. She had a feeling this relationship was going to last! Jimmy took Alison out to The Farm Bar and Grille in Dover where they shared pulled pork nachos and the stories of their lives. They continued their night dancing at The Barley Pub and Fury's. However, later on in the night, Jimmy was bitten by a spider and ended up at the emergency room. With the expensive hospital bill, Jimmy claims to this day it is the most expensive date he's ever been on. Despite this, Jimmy still called Alison for a second date. The rest is history.

Jimmy and Alison had big plans to go to Boston to celebrate their anniversary during the last weekend in August. Alison was not-so-secretly expecting the proposal to be in Boston. But Jimmy, wanting the moment to be a total surprise, shocked Alison by asking her the day before they left at the Cocheco Mill Courtyard, where they had met for the first time five years ago. After moments of hugging and disbelief, Alison said, "YES!" We are excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Dover!
