Flight
This is the closest airport to the venue, approximately 30 minutes from Flowerfield Celebrations. This will be the best option if you intend to rent a car or use Uber or Lyft to get to your hotel.
Flight
JFK airport is 47 miles from Flowerfield Celebrations. From JFK, you can take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station (about 20 minutes). From there, transfer to the Port Jefferson line and ride non-stop to Stony Brook. The hotel is a short ride from the train station and Uber or Lyft should be available. Be sure to check train schedules in advance at http://lirr42.mta.info/
Travel Note
If you are traveling to Long Island from the North, you can take a short ferry ride from Bridgeport, CT to Port Jefferson, NY. You can drive onto the ferry in a car or walk on as a pedestrian. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
