Beautiful nature preserve that's worth the hike. There is a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole in the middle of the preserve. Check websites for updates and cash only. This will be a day trip so plan accordingly and bring some light gear.
At Pedernales Falls State Park, you can camp, hike, mountain bike, picnic, geocache, bird watch and ride horses. On the river, you can swim, wade, tube or fish. Stunt Ranch is a 22-acre event center in southwest Austin, offering exciting experiences such as learning movie stunts, ziplines/ropes courses, paintball, etc. Seriously a good crazy time!

Mercer Street was home to some of the first businesses in Dripping Springs and many of the storefronts have remained unchanged for decades. Downtown, you will find unique and eclectic storefronts and businesses full of energy, entertainment, and accessibility for folks of all ages. Also, located downtown is the actual "dripping springs", the landmark which gave Dripping Springs the town, its name. Located on the west end of Mercer Street, this specific area consists of lush, fern-covered limestone ledges that consistently drip water into a small stream.
