Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Alison Dickinson and Chris Dodd
We're so excited to share some of our favorite spots from around Colorado Springs with you! Chris compiled this short list but there is so much more out there. Feel free to reach out for more specific recommendations. Also, food here is just ok, I have put together a google map with some of the spots we've visited and liked. You'll have to copy and paste the following link to view the food map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ekd1MfMaKMYK9zZy9
Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods

Colorado Springs, CO 80904

A must see! Even if you just drive through, it is absolutely stunning. There are plenty of trails for all levels, different parking areas to enjoy the views, this park has something for everyone.

Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs, CO

Cute little mountain town at the base of pikes peak. Great place to walk around, do some tourist shopping, and grab a coffee or lunch.

Manitou Incline

Manitou Incline

Manitou Springs, CO 80829

Not for the faint of heart! This is a set of stairs that goes straight uphill for one mile... There are a few different 'exit' points where you can loop back around on a trail, or you can just turn around and go back down the stairs. Make sure you read the website if you are actually thinking of doing this.

U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum

U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum

200 South Sierra Madre Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is a state-of-the-art museum located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, dedicated to celebrating the Olympic and Paralympic movements and the incredible athletes who represent the United States in these global competitions. Opened in 2020, the museum offers an immersive and interactive experience that inspires visitors by showcasing the history, triumphs, and values of Team USA.

Colorado College

Colorado College

14 East Cache La Poudre Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

This is where Chris coaches! Worth driving by and seeing the beautiful campus.

Seven Bridges Trail

Seven Bridges Trail

North Cheyenne Canyon Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Beautiful hiking trail that follows a stream with, you guessed it, 7 bridges. Great 'mountain' trail that is challenging but accessible.

Gold Camp Road

Gold Camp Road

Gold Camp Road, Colorado Springs, CO

Cool drive on a dirt road overlooking Colorado Springs. The drive has plenty of pull-offs with incredible views and takes you through a couple of different tunnels.

Ivywild School

Ivywild School

1604 South Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80905

Cool old elementary school that has been converted into a marketplace with food, breweries, and shops.
