For accommodations, we recommend that guests stay at the Pierre Mundo Imperial, shown above. The hotel is a resort including its own private pool areas, restaurants, spa, and golf course. The hotel has rooms available in the main buildings, as well as separate town house-style apartments that can be rented if groups of guests want to share a space. Most importantly, the Pierre is just a short walk along the beach to the wedding venue, which is the beach in front of Alison's dad's condo building. ** Please note that Mundo Imperial owns multiple different hotel properties in Acapulco, including the Pierre, Princess and Resort. Flight

Acapulco International Airport

We recommend flying to Acapulco either through United Airlines via Houston (United has direct flights from Houston to Acapulco), or flying via Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport via United, Aeromexico, Delta, Volaris, or Interjet. If you are looking at a connecting flight with any other airline outside of the ones we have written here, please contact us first so we can give you recommendations. The connections tend to be lengthy in Mexico City (not necessarily long enough to visit the city as it is LARGE) but the airport is large, filled with restaurants, lounges and shopping. We do not recommend driving from Mexico City to Acapulco. However, if you would like to make a tourism stop in Mexico City on your trip then we can give you specific recommendations for places to stay, what to see and how to get around. The airport in Acapulco is located just minutes away from our hotel and venue. We will make arangements for transportation from the airport to your hotel.

For a very economical and basic option the Hotel Rru https://www.hotelrrudiamante.com/ located directly behind Galapagos condominium. Riu does not have beach access, but you are able to use the Galapagos beach and pool area.
