When should I book a hotel?

Answer

The sooner the better! Maine is a popular spot in the spring and summer, and we recommend booking a place to stay on the earlier side!

Do you recommend any other hotels in the area?

Answer

Yes! We recommend The Breakwater Inn & Spa. It is only a three minute walk to The Colony Hotel. If you are looking to stay with other friends and family, we also recommend checking out local Air BnB listings for the area!

Which Taylor Swift music video was shot in the Kennebunkport area?

For all you Swifties, in 2010 Taylor Swift filmed parts of her music video "Mine" in both Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. According to SeaCoastOnline, scenes from the video were filmed at Christ Church on Dane Street in Kennebunk. Three children from the area even appeared as extras! During her time exploring, she was also seen eating at “Alisson’s Restaurant,” which is right down the street from the Colony! She later gave a performance for a lucky 800 people in the area.
