Wedding Party

Get to know the family and friends who we are so very blessed to have join us down the aisle on our big day!

Ana Rawls

Matron of Honor

Ana and I met in 2010, on the way to a weekend trip in Virginia Beach with a group of mutual friends. Little did I know her first question to me: "What's your sign?" (Pisces) would blossom into a 15+ year friendship. We later became roommates, and I've been blessed to be there with her through life's biggest moments, and I couldn't imagine anyone else standing by my side on my big day. She's truly like a sister to me and one of the most important people in my life.

Arielle Siner

Bridesmaid

I met Arielle through my previous job at Harris Williams, we had lunch together on my first day and instantly clicked. Our friendship quickly blossomed over a short period of time and I feel like I've known her forever. She asked me to be a bridesmaid for her own wedding at Cheesecake factory on a trip to Tysons and a stay at the Ritz Carlton, a bougie traveler after my own heart. I'm so happy she'll be joining me now on my big day!

Roma Moradian

Bridesmaid

I used to write for a music blog which is how Roma and I were introduced, she was doing PR for an artist I was writing about. My next trip to DC meant us finally meeting in person. We quickly became close and started traveling to music festivals together from Maryland and Miami all the way to Vegas. We've had so many fun times throughout the years and have stayed close throughout her moves to NYC and LA, I can't wait to have her here for another big moment in life!

Brenna George

Bridesmaid

I've known Brenna the second longest of all the bridesmaids, we met through our Sorority at VCU where we were part of the same 'sorority family,' later became roommates, and try to see each other regularly now that we are on opposite coasts. We have gone through so many life changes and relationships together, I don't think there's a single big moment in my life she hasn't been present for, I love her dearly, and I'm so happy she'll be by my side to celebrate.

Kyle Moulton

Groomsman

Kyle and I met as lifeguards when we were kids, but honestly, we spent way more time joking around than actually working. Life eventually pulled us in different directions and Kyle moved out of state, but years later, we reconnected when I took a trip to Florida to visit him, and it was like nothing had changed. These days, we might not hang out as much as we’d like, but we still talk almost every week, cracking jokes or backing each other up. I'm grateful to still have him as a great friend.

Wyatt Talley

Groomsman

Wyatt and I started as coworkers who occasionally butted heads, only to realize we clashed because we’re so alike. Once we became friends, life changed—he became a dad and started a new job—but our bond stayed strong. We still make time to hang out, whether it’s getting the kids together, fishing, catching up on weekends, or cheering on the Commanders (even when we know they’ll lose). No matter what we’re doing, I know I’ll never have a bad time hanging out with him.

Hunter Stout

Groomsman

By the time you hit your 30s, it’s rare to still have a friend from kindergarten—but I’m lucky to have that with Hunter. We met before we even knew our colors, but we knew we liked hanging out. Weekends were spent bouncing between each other’s houses so our parents wouldn’t get sick of us, and whether it was video games, science fair projects or building fences, we always found a way to make it fun. Life eventually pulled us into work and responsibilities, but we still continue to be there for one other no matter the circumstances.

Brian Douglas

Groomsman

I met Brian at my current job, and from day one, he was the person who truly made me feel welcome. He took the time to show me the ropes and helped me get better at what I do. It didn’t take long before our conversations went beyond work, and we started hanging out outside of it. There were times when life got tough, but Brian was always there to lift me up—finding the positives and reminding me to enjoy the moment. Even though he’s since moved away and we don’t talk as often, I know without a doubt that if I ever needed anything, he’d be there for me.

Cathy Wieckmann

Mother of the Bride

Cathy has always been a steady, guiding force in my life. Strong, supportive, and endlessly encouraging. She's shown me what resilience looks like in action and she's welcomed John with open arms. I'm grateful every day for her example and even more grateful to have her by my side as we celebrate this next chapter.

Robert Wieckmann

Father of the Bride

Robert or 'Bobby' will be walking me down the aisle. A moment I know will be both meaningful and unforgettable. He's been a constant source of support in my life and has welcomed John like family from the start. Whether it's offering advice or planning our family vacation to the Outer Banks, he's always shown up in his own way, and I couldn't imagine anyone else by my side for that walk.

Lillian Hicks

Mother of the Groom

David Hicks

Step Father of the Groom

Skip Cousins

Father of the Groom

Sue Cousins

Step Mother of the Groom

Carly Cousins

Flower Girl

Carly (John's daughter and my soon to be step daughter) keeps us laughing and fills our home with more sweetness than ever could be described. She's sharp, hilarious, and has the kindest heart. The ultimate sidekick and the glue of our little trio. We're so lucky to call her ours.
