Baraat Dance Party

Attire: Dancing Shoes and/or Party Pants

We will be kicking off the wedding festivities with a traditional Indian celebration called a Baraat. It's a dance party parade of the groom's friends and family into the venue. All guests are welcome! If you are interested in joining, we will start in front of Thompson Library at 4:45pm and dance down the Oval straight into the venue. It's about a 10 minute walk from the library to the venue, so plan your shoes accordingly! We will have waters and fans in case it is hot. For parking, we recommend parking in the Union Garage or Arps Hall parking garages and then walking to Thompson Library from there. There is no parking next to Thompson Library. It's a beautiful walk down the Oval though.
