Question

Where is Cuernavaca?

Answer

Cuernavaca is the capital and largest city of the state of Morelos in Mexico. The city is located around a 90-minute drive south of Mexico City.

Question

What's the weather like in Cuernavaca in February?

Answer

Cuernavaca has a temperate climate year-round, with expected temperatures of mid-70s to low-80s in February, with low humidity and little to no chance of rain. Perfect wedding weather.

Question

Where is the best place to fly into?

Answer

Mexico City International Airport (MEX); officially Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez.

Question

What is the best way to get to Cuernavaca from Mexico City?

Answer

There are a few options. From cheapest to most expensive (still very affordable): 1. Take a coach bus. If you are coming directly from the airport, you can take a Pullman de Morelos bus to Cuernavaca Casino de la Selva ($270 pesos each ticket), and take a cab or an Uber from the bus station to your hotel. If you're staying in Mexico City before the wedding, you can take a Pullman de Morelos bus from Terminal Central del Sur (Taxqueña) to Cuernavaca Centro ($135 pesos each ticket). 2. Take an Uber. Ubers are very common in Mexico, and are an easy and affordable way to get around. The cost for an Uber from Mexico City to Cuernavaca is typically around $700-1,000 pesos. 3. Take a private car. If you're interested in getting a private driver from the airport to your hotel, just let us know and we can help arrange it! Prices typically range from $1,800-2,200 pesos.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 1st, 2019. You can RSVP for the welcome party, wedding and brunch either through the website or by contacting us directly.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, garden party attire. For the ceremony and reception, cocktail attire. For brunch, whatever's most comfortable.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We can make this available for those who are not staying with us at Anticavilla, if desired. Let us know and we can make arrangements. If you want to coordinate transportation on your own, the hotel you're staying at can easily help, and there are plenty of cabs and Ubers available in Cuernavaca.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Besides what you're going to wear to the wedding, we recommend bringing the following: - A valid passport! - A credit card with no foreign transaction fees - Some pesos, just in case (you can either exchange dollars or withdraw pesos from an ATM in the Mexico City airport) - Sunscreen - Swimwear (Cuernavaca is #2 on the list of cities with the most swimming pools, per capita, in the world) - A Spanish phrase book
