Cuernavaca is the capital and largest city of the state of Morelos in Mexico. The city is located around a 90-minute drive south of Mexico City.
Cuernavaca has a temperate climate year-round, with expected temperatures of mid-70s to low-80s in February, with low humidity and little to no chance of rain. Perfect wedding weather.
Mexico City International Airport (MEX); officially Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez.
There are a few options. From cheapest to most expensive (still very affordable): 1. Take a coach bus. If you are coming directly from the airport, you can take a Pullman de Morelos bus to Cuernavaca Casino de la Selva ($270 pesos each ticket), and take a cab or an Uber from the bus station to your hotel. If you're staying in Mexico City before the wedding, you can take a Pullman de Morelos bus from Terminal Central del Sur (Taxqueña) to Cuernavaca Centro ($135 pesos each ticket). 2. Take an Uber. Ubers are very common in Mexico, and are an easy and affordable way to get around. The cost for an Uber from Mexico City to Cuernavaca is typically around $700-1,000 pesos. 3. Take a private car. If you're interested in getting a private driver from the airport to your hotel, just let us know and we can help arrange it! Prices typically range from $1,800-2,200 pesos.
