If you're spending any time in Mexico City before the wedding, we would love to invite you to join us for a day on the canals of the Xochimilco. About a 45-minute drive south of the city center, Xochimilco is famous for its live mariachi music, floating drink vendors, and the Island of the Dolls. We are planning on renting a couple boats and spending a few hours floating through the canals with drinks and snacks, followed by a dinner/more drinks at a beer garden back in the city center. If you're interested in joining, plan to arrive around 12pm. The fastest/easiest way to get there is to order an Uber with a destination of "Embarcadero Nuevo Nativitas Xochimilco."
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We've arranged for our favorite museum in Cuernavaca - conveniently located across the street from Kim & Barry's house - to stay open an extra hour, for anyone interested in stopping by before the Welcome Fiesta. The museum was the former house of American artist and art collector Robert Brady. His collection includes an original Frida Kahlo, as well as artwork from around the world. We encourage you to stop by while you have the opportunity!
