The year was 1988, and baby Jake was just a babe. Aline wasn't even born yet, just a clump of cells. In 2020, Jake moved to Ohio for the ocean views. Aline moved in 2021 for a degree in "poetry." Somehow, both cuties were signed up for a local meet-up application called Hinge, and Aline had just figured out how to use it. Jake had posted a picture that made it look like he read books, and Aline fell for it. (He wasn't reading, he was playing a video-game.) Before meeting in person, Aline had to make sure Jake wasn't a serial killer, so they had a video interview, which went well. Five days later, Jake picked up Aline from *around* her apartment (with flowers) and they went to Otherworld, then had dinner at Brassica, and finished off their first date (September 1st) with Jeni's ice cream. Jake came by for a movie night with Aline's friends the next night, and met Molly for the first time. Once Molly approved, things happened pretty quickly! The three of them moved to Atlanta together in July, 2024.
