ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love kids! Please feel free to bring your little ones to the party! But during the ceremony, we want them to stay quiet. Shhh 🤫

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at Pousada Pequena Tiradentes. If you are staying there, there is no need for a shuttle. If you are staying at their extension hotel Pousada do Largo, they operate a shuttle between the two hotels all day. Just make sure to schedule a shuttle when you arrive at the hotel. Lastly, if you are staying at Posada Villa D'Ouro, you will be across the street from Pequena Tiradentes and won't need a shuttle.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Yes! Just make sure you tell me ahead of time so I can add your date to our guest list. You and your date will need to check in to enter the wedding area.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The event is formal or black-tie optional. Please be comfortable but dress for the occasion.

WHAT IS I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY OR DIETARY RESTRICTION?

Answer

All meals are gluten-free and we have five main dish options, including vegetarian and pescatarian options. Due to a guest request, our dishes are free from shellfish as well. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions not mentioned above, please contact me for meal accommodations.

CAN AND SHOULD I DRIVE IN BRASIL?

Answer

I am Brazilian but I do not feel comfortable driving on Brazil's highways and crazy traffic. if you consider yourself a pretty good driver, you may rent a car at the airport. But please remember that certain areas of Brazil can be dangerous, especially in Rio de Janeiro where favelas are common.
