One important thing to remember is that there is no cell service here. Please plan accordingly. Download an offline map on Google Maps of the area so you can still use navigation during your drive. It is extremely important that you follow the directions. DO NOT drive down any random dirt roads. STAY ON THE MAIN ROAD. The road is paved for almost the entire drive, only the last 15min or so have uneven pavement. Any car can make it. Drive slow and careful, this is a southern Humboldt mountain road. Expect sharp curves and some one lane roads. If you are not from Humboldt, allow plenty of time for driving slow. There are no nearby medical services, do not wear heels!
