Hartsfield Jackson International Airport

Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International airport is (in our opinion) one of the greatest airports in the world. Make sure to take the "Plane Train" to save on walking long distances. The website under "VIEW" will also help for scouting out estimates on security lines, choosing the best checkpoint, and double checking any flight delays as needed. Don't forget about their free Wi-Fi! If you are arriving earlier in the week, consider exiting the airport on at Domestic Airport side (Concourse T) for a painless ride into the city via MARTA - use the Breeze 2.0 App for your tickets ($2.50/person/one way). If going by car, drop off and pick up is often easier from either the international terminal (Concourse F) side or the *lower level* of the domestic (Concourse T) side. The rental cars are connected to the Domestic side (Concourse T) of the airport via the Sky Train which is accessible outside of security.

If you don't want to pay for parking downtown or prefer slightly larger style rooms, we have suite style rooms reserved at the SpringHill Suites Athens West! Double check their individual rates if you go to book here though as they sometimes have deals that are better than the group rate we reserved. The reservation block can be found under "VIEW." All reservations, regardless of whether they are in the block, come with breakfast, wifi, and free parking. You can also call to see about different days for the block if you'd prefer a shorter or longer stay. The last day to book with the block is August 12th.

Rental Car

Costco

We genuinely recommend renting a car through Costco if you have a membership. (And would encourage you to consider a membership even if only for the car rental if you rent more than once a year.) They will price compare between available agencies, apply their group discount code, and provide a second driver for free. Their rates are typically very competitive, so we recommend checking them out! (Also, if you have a Costco credit card, it covers rental insurance as long as you use it as the method of payment. Woo!)
