We're Getting Married!

A combination of luck, love, and killer dance moves brought us together. We had known each other in our younger years, growing up less than 6 miles apart and attending the same school. We reconnected at Jeff's brother's wedding, where we made googley eyes at each other all day before finally sharing a moment on the dance floor. Our first date was at Brew At The Zoo two weeks later. A few skipped heartbeats, several various exotic animals, and kaleidoscopes of butterflies later, we decided to give our love a shot.

Towards the end of October, Jeff planned for us to take "holiday pictures" on the field of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. I was suspicious but I really tried not to get my hopes up. It didn't work. My hopes were all the way up. Jeff set up his GoPro on the field and we took what seemed like hundreds of pictures. With Jeff walking me all over the field and nothing happening, I convinced myself that today was just not the day. Before packing things up he asked to retake one more picture in the middle of the field because "the light was better." I stood waiting while he hit the shutter to begin taking pictures. We both posed for moment before he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And there you have it. Fairytales are real.
