This is a relatively quick and easy classic Carbondale hike that ends in spectacular vies of our town and the surrounding valley.

Rio Grande Trail
The Rio Grande Trail system stretches from Aspen to Glenwood Springs, paralleling the Roaring Fork River for the majority of the trail. It is mostly paved with the exception of a section from Aspen to Woody Creek. This trail is great for walking and road biking.
