Our relationship began in the early spring mornings. We would meet before the sun rose to have a chance to kayak before work. A few months later, we embarked on a 16-day kayak trip down the Grand Canyon together with 6 other friends and realized that we shared something incredibly unique and special. Our mutual love for the river was a quick and deep bond between us.

As the sun set over Glenwood Canyon, we were gearing up to go kayaking and Dodge got down on his knee. He presented Ali with a ring from his Grandmother, and then they watched the canyon walls fade from pink to grey before paddling down the river.
