Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP was January 1, 2023. RSVPs are now closed.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The theme is tropical glam so break out your best & glamorous cocktail attire. We'll be partying under the Jamaican stars so wear comfortable shoes! Men: Suits preferred, jacket optional. No jeans, please. Women: Cocktail dress We kindly ask that guests avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride. This includes white, off-white, ivory, cream, and any patterns that are mostly these colors. We welcome guests to match our color scheme, though not required. Our color scheme includes coral, peach, gold, and navy blue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No, unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the person(s) listed on the invitation. The villa has very limited capacity.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a block of rooms at Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites- All Inclusive Resort for a discounted rate. Guests must book through the website on the "Travel" page. Guests must also pay their deposit for the room on or before January 15, 2023. The second payment for the room is due by February 1st. Final payment for the room is due by March 1st. (Please do not get this resort confused with Iberostar Rose Hall Beach-- not the same)

Question

Do I have to book my room or package with the group?

Answer

It is highly recommended that you book your accommodations within our room block or the tour package within our group block. If you book separately, you will not be included with the group manifest and depending on the hotel, you could be charged to attend events held at the host hotel. Your booking also contributes to additional amenities that can be earned and provided to the group, based on the number of rooms booked. The additional amenities can enhance your overall vacation experience.

Question

Can I stay at a different hotel?

Answer

If you choose to book your own accommodations and not with the host hotel, you will be required to purchase a day pass to visit the property. The day pass is required per person that would like to visit the host hotel. The average cost for a day pass is $135 USD and there are restrictions applicable (time you can spend on property, meals and beverages may not be included and you may not be able to access certain areas of the hotel). The hotel reserves the right to limit the availability of day passes or not offer them at all, based on their occupancy levels. It is not guaranteed day passes will be available for purchase during your travel dates. Guests staying at a different resort will also be responsible for arranging their transportation to/from the welcome party and the wedding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a wedding shuttle that runs from Iberostar to the wedding. More information will be on our "Travel" page when it becomes available.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! But we would like our wedding to be a nice little vacation for yourself. Take the time to reconnect with yourself and/or spouse. We appreciate your planning ahead of time and leaving your children at home.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

As much as we know you want to capture these special moments, we have hired a professional photographer and videographer. This is an UNPLUGGED CEREMONY. We ask that you please refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony, so that it does not block nor interfere with our media team. After the ceremony, and at the reception, GET THOSE PHOTOS GOING! Just remember to use the hashtags #LegallyIshman and/or #AliciaDownTheAisle if you post any pictures or videos.

Question

What if I RSVP and can't attend anymore?

Answer

We invited you because you are someone special to us in our hearts. We understand that uncontrollable issues occur. We do ask that you are considerate enough to inform us right away if you can no longer attend. We appreciate your honesty versus a no-show!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Your presence at our wedding is present enough. However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we've created an online registry right here on Zola, which includes our Newlywed Fund. These can be viewed under the "Registry" tab. As an alternative to traditional gifts, a card box will be set up at the entrance to the wedding and reception.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#LegallyIshman and #AliciaDownTheAisle

Question

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

Yes! We are currently working on a way to live-stream the ceremony and will provide updated information at a later time.

Question

What are the travel requirements for Jamaica?

Answer

Guests will need a current U.S. Passport for entry into the country.
