Being a couple in our thirties, successful in our careers, and established in our footing we do not want for anything that we would be comfortable asking our friends and loved ones to purchase (of course, if you want to cover a mortgage, we won't fight you).
Instead of asking for things, we've decided to embrace the Turkish tradition of financial donations to help us start in our life together. Just so, we do not want anybody to feel obligated to purchase or donate anything. We will be grateful for any support you want to lend as we take our first steps together as a married couple, but ultimately care more about you're presence than your presents on our special day.
If you feel Venmo is too impersonal, or simply detest electronic funds for gifts, we will welcome anything you care to contribute on the day of our event.
