We're getting married!!

We first met working at Enterprise in Monaca. We had a lot of fun working together and would often play pranks on our coworkers together. Spending a good deal of time together, we became very close friends. Eventually though we both left the company and ultimately lost touch.... Skip ahead to September 2018....I went to check out at a car at Carsense in Cranberry. The salesperson, Andy, took my application for the car I was interested in. He came back a few minutes later and said "our finance guy recognized your name, do you remember Mike Deems?" It was such a chance encounter! We decided to grab a drink and catch up. After a few times out we knew there was something so special there...before long we were head over heels for each other!

We planned a trip we had both dreamed of for awhile....Vegas!! The first night there we went on the HighRoller observation wheel. Mike is not a fan of heights so I didn't think anything of him seeming nervous. At the top of the ride, at 550 feet above the Vegas strip, as we were posing for pictures, Mike pulled out a ring box! (which he promptly dropped on the floor and it landed on someone's shoe). I was so shocked for a moment! He dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the best surprise and so romantic and memorable! We got to spend the whole rest of the trip celebrating our engagement!
