Please plan on arriving at 4 pm to give yourself time to get a drink and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 4:30.
We suggest staying close by and walking/carpooling. Parking on site is limited, so please use the town parking lot which is located on North Street Bridge. Put "Big Pillow Brewery" into your GPS and drive there. The town parking lot is the first left after you pass the brewery. You can park here and walk to the wedding (less than a 3 minute walk). Walk to the left towards the red bridge and up the driveway. This is a non paved trail, so please watch your step if you are wearing heels!
Heck yeah! We will be offering a full open bar of wine and beer. ***EDIT: Due to an unfortunate mishap with NC liquor laws, spirits will not be able to be served at this event. We will have lots of wine and beer options and specialty wine cocktails as well!!***
The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire, with darker colors preferred. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory. Our event is mostly outdoors on grass with some gravel pathways, please consider this when deciding on shoes.
The reception will end at 10:00 pm, but we can continue the celebration on the property inside the main house!
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!
Although we can’t predict the exact weather, the current weather forecast is high 70's during the day and low 60's during the night.
Please use our website to RSVP by September 1st to all events.
You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Of course! Come when you can – just don’t forget to RSVP “no” to events you won’t be attending.
Your invitation is addressed to those who are invited. If it includes a guest by name, then yes! We would love to offer a plus one to all guests, but we have a strict guest list to meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at the home.
While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many Airbnbs/Vrbos available very close to the venue, and larger hotels within a 45 minute drive. The closer the better! We recommend booking early as October is a very popular month for the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The venue is a smoke free property. However, you are welcome to smoke in the parking lot just outside of the venue.
