The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

4401 Alameda Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87113
, (505) 821-1000

The Albuquerque balloon fiesta is a must-do experience with spectacular views and uncountable colors. Plan to arrive early morning, around 6am. If you are early enough to watch the dawn patrol, that is an interesting sight as well. Balloons begin take off around 7-8am and lasts for a couple hours. It is also fun to walk through the vendor tent shops, or grab a bite to eat with some early morning coffee from the vendors. On the weekend evenings, they also do a “glowdeo” show. This is where they inflate the balloons at sunset and light up the balloons while you walk underneath the bright, vibrant colors. Don’t miss the wood carving competitions as well! Please check the Albuquerque balloon fiesta website for more dates, times, and events.
