Flight
There should be no shortage of flights getting to Barcelona. From within Europe, the cheapest flights will likely be with Vueling, but make sure you add at least a carry-on luggage to the basic flight fare. The airport is well-connected to Barcelona, and you can do the trip in 30 mins in several ways: 1) A taxi for approximately 40€ for maximum convenience. 2) The aerobus (www.aerobusbarcelona.es, 7.45€ one-way) takes you to the city center. 3) The metro line "L9 Sud" (www.tmb.cat/es, 5.70€ one-way, "billete aeropuerto") takes you to Zona Universitaria (west side of Avinguda Diagonal). 4) Bus line 46 (www.tmb.cat/es, 2.65€ one-way) takes you to Plaça Espanya. If you want to visit Barcelona, you can check the Hola Barcelona card (www.holabarcelona.com) for unlimited public transport within the city, which also includes the metro to the airport!
Train
The main train station in Barcelona is Estaciò de Sants. If you are traveling to Barcelona from elsewhere in Spain, check www.renfe.com. If you are coming from elsewhere in Europe, you can check www.sncf-connect.com (there are direct trains from Paris that take less than 7h).
Shuttle
October 18, 2025 11:30 am
Due to the difficulty to reach and leave Can Ramonet by public transport, we will be setting up a shuttle service at the beginning and end of the wedding. The shuttle will leave from Francesc Macià squar (in front of restaurant Sandor) at 11:30AM the day of the wedding. Be there ahead of time!
Rental Car
If you rent a car, the drive from Barcelona is ~45 mins by toll motorway, or along the coast road (without toll) with spectacular views. There is parking space at the wedding venue for up to 30 cars. We don't expect it to fill up, but if you want a spot, please us know ahead of time so we can track the numbers.
Travel Note
We do not recommend taking public transport to get to Can Ramonet from Barcelona (which is why we are arranging our own shuttles). If you must, we would recommend going from Barcelona to Sitges by train, and then taking a taxi from Sitges to Can Ramonet. To get from Barcelona to Sitges, you can check www.rodalies.gencat.cat/es for the local train line. To get from Sitges to Can Ramonet, you can take a taxi/uber (~15 minutes, ~15 euros) Don't forget to reserve a taxi ahead of time, to get from Can Ramonet to Sitges, for when you want to leave the wedding venue! Taxis and Uber from Can Ramonet to Barcelona are a more expensive option. A one-way trip would cost at least 60€, and perhaps much more (~120€) if you are asked to pay for the return trip of the driver.
Hotel
Conveniently located hotel in Gracia and near the Sagrada Familia, with plenty of double or triple rooms at affordable prices for those of you traveling in small groups. Book directly on their website for ~10% off.
Hotel
Another nice and affordable aparthotel in Gracia.
Hotel
A nice but less affordable option if you want to stay right next to where we will depart from to the venue. There is also a companion hotel a bit further in the shopping mall L'Illa: https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/bcndl-ac-hotel-diagonal-lilla/overview/
Hotel
Another reasonably priced aparthotel in Gracia.
Travel Note
As you might have noticed, it is expensive to stay the night in Barcelona, even outside of high season. If you are trying to save on costs, we recommend you look into airbnbs or hostels, especially if you can get one that can host more than two or three people. We can get you in touch with other attendees that you know, so you can organize your trip together. Some neighbourhoods we recommend are Gracia, Sarria, el Born or Sants. Avoid el Raval.
