Hiking and Biking

Central Vermont is home to some of the state's best hiking and biking trails! If you are interested in longer summit hikes, consider Mount Mansfield in Stowe, Camel's Hump in Waterbury, or Mount Abraham in Lincoln. These are some of Nick and Alice's favorites! Shorter hikes include the Stowe Pinnacle or Moss Glen Falls in Stowe. There are also beautiful walking trails in the Little River State Park area. Bikes can be rented at many locations in Vermont. There are excellent trails at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, along the Stowe Recreation Path, or along the Colchester Causeway.

Central Vermont has many local breweries explore! In Stowe, some good options include Von Trapp Brewery, Idletyme Brewing Company, or The Alchemist Brewery. In Waterbury, Alice's hometown, you can stop by Prohibition Pig or Freak Folk Bier. Over in Waitsfield, where Nick grew up, Lawson's Finest Liquids is a great option as well!
