Covid Safety

Answer

We will be asking that all guests confirm they are vaccinated and have received a booster (if eligible) before attending. Weather permitting, we hope to do the wedding mostly outside, but it's possible some things would take place indoors. We will be as cautious as possible while still enjoying the day! As things continue to change, we will adjust plans if needed. If you have questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask us.

What should I wear?

Answer

The Catskills can get quite cool even in May, so make sure to bring layers and jackets to keep warm! For the wedding Saturday you can wear cocktail attire or whatever you feel comfortable in, but feel free to bring a change of clothes or layers for the bonfire at night. Shoes - we will be walking on wood chips and natural forest floor is the dance floor, so wear comfortable shoes.

What is the area like?

Answer

Fleischmanns and the surrounding areas are rural, and cell phone service is not always strong. You may want to screenshot/print out driving directions in case you lose a signal. Think of it as the unplugged weekend you didn't ask for! Because it's quieter, that also means there aren't many stores open late. We recommend being prepared with snacks in your room just in case.

Unfortunately Lyft/Uber are not available in the area, so you will need your own vehicle to get around the area. Please let us know if you have questions!

Are kids attending?

Answer

While we'd love to see your kids, we decided to have an adults-only wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.
