Wildwood Preserve MetroPark
Northwest Ohio has several nice metroparks, but Wildwood has always been a favorite. Anyone in need of a nature fix can get out and enjoy one of countless trails weaving throughout the park's 493 acres of forests and meadows.
Toledo Zoo
Another of Toledo's most renowned points of interest. Home to more than 10,000 individual animals representing over 720 different species!
MacQueen's Apple Orchard
Did you even visit the Midwest in the fall if you didn't go apple picking? Okay, so maybe no one needs to bring a half bushel of apples home as a souvenir, but this place is worth the drive for the cinnamon sugar donuts and apple cider alone! Hehe.
Maumee Bay Brewing Co.
Toledo's oldest brewery and one of our favorite spots! Awesome craft beers and tasty pub fare. No visit here is complete without ordering their GIANT soft pretzel-- it's roughly the size of a steering wheel. Unfortunately it'll be too early to sample the 7.7% Blitzen Ale...
Barry Bagels
A Toledo legend. The best bagels and cream cheese, end of story. Apparently the downtown shop is moving to a new home just across the street in the fall, which will be very convenient for any guests staying at the Renaissance!
