We’ll kick things off with a welcome event on Friday, September 19, followed by the wedding on Saturday, September 20. Guests traveling from abroad may wish to extend their stay to enjoy more of beautiful Italy!
Florence offers a wide range of accommodations, including historic hotels, boutique stays, and charming Airbnbs throughout the city and surrounding areas. While there are many excellent options, please note that many historical streets of downtown Florence are narrow, and certain areas may have limited vehicle access. For convenience, we have reserved the hotel blocks that are accessible via taxi, Uber, and shuttle. For your convenience, shuttle transportation will be provided from the hotel blocks. If you choose to stay elsewhere, we recommend booking accommodation nearby, as not all streets are accessible by shuttle. Please let us know where you choose to stay so we can best assist you with transportation to the Wedding. If you need additional assistance with booking hotel accommodations or to extend your stay, please contact Mary Myles Curtis at mary.myles@fora.travel and mention "Ali and Seb 2025."
Welcome Party 🕖 Friday, September 19 | 7:00–10:00 PM 📍 Obicà Mozzarella Bar – Via dè Tornabuoni 16, Florence, 50123 Our welcome event is in the heart of downtown Florence, easily walkable from most central hotels and accommodations. Wedding Ceremony & Celebration 🕞 Saturday, September 20 | 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM 📍 In the Tuscan countryside, just 15–20 minutes outside Florence We’ll be celebrating just outside the city, surrounded by the stunning Tuscan landscape. To make things easy, shuttles will be provided from the designated hotel blocks. If you're staying elsewhere, we recommend choosing a place nearby, as some country roads may not be accessible by shuttle. Let us know your accommodation details so we can help coordinate transportation for you. We will provide the shuttle schedule closer to the event.
The ceremony, reception, and dinner will all take place outdoors. Evenings in Tuscany can get a bit chilly, so we recommend that ladies bring a shawl or light jacket for comfort. Dancing will be indoors—so don’t forget your dancing shoes!
