Things To Do

South Kaibab Trail

South Kaibab Trail

South Kaibab Trail, Grand Canyon Village, AZ

We started our rim to rim to rim backpacking trip on this hike! It's a beautiful trail that is definitely worth checking out! They say only 1% of visitors to the Grand Canyon actually hike below the rim... If you're extra lucky, you might catch some alps horns players setting the scene for you. :) Note: you have to hike UP whatever you hike DOWN. Be prepared and bring lots of water!

Bright Angel Trail

15 Bright Angel Trail, Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023

The most popular hiking trail into Grand Canyon, the Bright Angel Trail lets hikers walk in the footsteps of the canyon's Indigenous peoples, miners, and early tourists, as they descend into the canyon's depths. Offering outstanding views, morning and afternoon shade, resthouses, vault toilets, and drinking water during the summer, this trail offers an excellent first trip into the canyon.

Bike the South Rim!

Looking to exchange four wheels for two? Bicycling is a great way to experience the South Rim. Cyclists can enjoy approximately 13 miles (21 km) of roads and Greenway Trails that allow for more intimate explorations along the rim. If you get tired, load your bike or e-bike on one of the park’s bicycle-friendly shuttle buses - there is a bus stop every one-half to one-mile along the 13 mile-stretch. Bicycles and e-bikes are allowed on all paved and unpaved roads on the South Rim. Be good to yourself and the environment – ride instead of drive. :)
