FAQs

If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal attire is preferred. Examples of this include suits, long dresses, or cocktail dresses. Please note that the ceremony will be outside on the grass with an indoor reception, and we are currently experiencing unusually higher temperatures in this region. At the end of the day we care most about you, not what you wear. We want you to feel good at our wedding, so please dress in something comfortable and let us know if you have any questions or concerns! If you're wondering about specific colors, neutrals are always a safe bet (black, brown, beige, champagne, grey, etc). Our wedding will mirror several earth tones, so those work great too!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to start promptly at 4pm, so we advise planning to arrive around 3:30pm. The venue is at the top of a trail by residential homes, and there are signs posted to lead you to the Lodge. We encourage budgeting some extra travel time for traffic and/or if you are unfamiliar with the area. If you do not have access to a COVID-19 test the morning of the wedding, please arrive in a mask with enough time to test on-site. Tests will be stored in the downstairs bathroom and there are cocktail tables available outside for your use!

Question

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We ask guests to refrain from having phones and cameras out during the ceremony. We have a fantastic photographer and videographer who will capture it for us, and we want guests to be able to be fully present!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a small registry for those interested in gifting us something in honor of this special occasion: www.zola.com/registry/aliandricardo. We're fortunate to have collected many home goods throughout the years and are incredibly grateful for any contribution towards experiences we want to share, such as our first international trip together! A card box will also be available at the wedding as we cherish cards and save every one we receive. Thank you so much for thinking of us!

Question

Is There Parking at the Venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking available steps away from the venue.

Question

Can I Bring a Guest?

Answer

We hope to have a more intimate wedding and thus have limited availability for additional guests. If you have not already been invited to bring a guest in your RSVP but have someone special that you would like to add, please let us know as soon as possible!

Question

Are COVID-19 Vaccinations Required?

Answer

Yes, all guests are required to be fully vaccinated to attend. Please note that fully vaccinated now includes at least one booster for most. We also ask that guests wear a well-fitted N95/KN95 mask, take a rapid test, and avoid unnecessary exposures leading up to the wedding to minimize the risk of infection spreading. Thank you!

Question

Why So Many Health Precautions?

Answer

We care deeply about the well-being of both our loved ones and the surrounding community. Even if you're confident in your own health, please be respectful of the circumstances and comfortability of others including ourselves. With COVID and other illnesses still circulating, it is imperative to us that we do our best to protect one another. With this in mind, we ask that everyone practice safety precautions and limit their unnecessary exposures before attending as best as possible. This includes getting vaccinated, wearing a well-fitted N95/KN95 mask during travel and amongst crowds, and getting tested regularly. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe!
