What should I wear??

Answer

Semi-formal wedding attire. Nothing too fancy! You’re on a ranch! Cowboy boots and hats are welcome! Ladies, wear your cute summer dresses. Yes gentleman, you’re welcome to dress up in jeans :) And of course, patriotic outfits are always encouraged!!

What color will the wedding party be wearing?

Answer

They will all be in blue. So, if you don’t want to look like them lol, avoid shades of just blue.

Will there be Fireworks?

Answer

Oooooo this is my fave part of the 4th too! The whole point of this wedding date is to have fireworks every year to come on our anniversary. However, we knew picking cooler weather would mean a forest, and fireworks were unlikely because of fires. And even though we are getting married on a ranch far from the pines, there is so much wildlife including horses and cows on the ranch (you’ll see them too!) and that is their home. We also will have our sweet girl Gemini there and she hates fireworks more than anything. So while we love this tradition, we love her more :) Fireworks will not be happening, but we will be providing sparklers 💥

Are children welcome?

Only cool kids welcome 😆 We have to invite ours, so yours can come too 😉 Just please include ages and exact count on your RSVP.

Rain?

Answer

This is very possible given Arizona monsoon season is crazy some years. Please bring umbrellas just in case :) The ceremony is outdoor and reception is inside.

Driving after dark?

Answer

Please be aware our wedding is on a ranch down a canyon and while it’s a beautiful drive there coming from Pinetop or Greer/Eagar, leaving the venue will be DARK. Be aware of wildlife and please drive responsibly. We have highly encouraged the Best Western in Eagar for accommodations to all those not wanting to drive far after the wedding. This hotel is about 15 min away from X Diamond Ranch.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Not necessarily ;) So, we decided since so many are making this a vacation and staying in Pinetop, the night will end after the reception. We opted for a 4th of July style picnic/BBQ the next day for all those staying in town or driving home that afternoon, to come by and enjoy our company. Please see the events section for info! BUT, the Gateway will be open very late that night with music, wood fired pizza, and drinks! Meet us there if you wanna keep the party going!

Duh 🎉 BUT please drive responsibly. Designate a driver. And keep in mind, wildlife on highways and dark roads. Slow down :)
