Shuttle from Downtown Roanoke to Venue

So that our guests can fully enjoy the day safely and stress-free, we will be providing transportation from our hotel block at Hampton Inn to and from the wedding venue. There is parking at our venue, but unfortunately, they do not allow guests to leave cars overnight. Though it is only a 30 minute drive from Downtown Roanoke, Ubers/Lyfts are less available in Rocky Mount to return back to Downtown, and we do not recommend relying on this option. Even if you are not staying downtown, you may also meet at the hotel for a ride, which we recommend! Please note this will leave promptly at 3:15PM from 27 Church Avenue SE to ensure arrival to the venue for the ceremony.

Hampton Inn & Suites Roanoke-Downtown

This option is also in the heart of downtown and close to multiple bars, breweries, shops, and restaurants. The shuttle will stop at this location to transport you to and from the wedding venue. Please book through the hotel block link below by March 31, 2026 to reserve your room. Please note that this is our only available hotel block.

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, Curio Collection by Hilton

This historic hotel has been welcoming guests since 1882. It is only a few steps from Downtown Roanoke via The Market Square Walkway, a covered pedestrian bridge that connects the hotel with the center of downtown by crossing over the historic yet still active railroads. This hotel offers the Regency Room for finer dining, the 1882 Lobby Bar/Pine Room to grab a bite and delicious cocktail under a artsy painted ceiling, and the new Spa at Hotel Roanoke for some pampering. There is unfortunately no hotel block available.

Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA)

5202 Aviation Dr NW, Roanoke, VA 24012 5 miles (10 minute drive) from Downtown Roanoke. There are options to rent cars, but Ubers and Lyfts are usually readily available by the airport and in the downtown area!

Amtrak

55 Norfolk Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24011 Station is located Downtown. It is an easy 5-6 minute walk to both downtown hotels (or a very quick uber).

Uber/Lyft

In the Roanoke area, Ubers and Lyfts are widely available, so you will be able to get to the venue should you choose to use this option. However, in Rocky Mount, Ubers may be few and far between, so we encourage our guests to use caution in planning to Uber home as we do not want anyone to be stuck at the venue. Please see our shuttle note above.

If you do not wish to stay at the hotels above, there are several other hotels in the Roanoke area. Downtown, there is Liberty Trust. Springhill Suites by Marriott is also close by.

Rocky Mount Hotels

Rocky Mount is 30 minutes south of Roanoke, and home to our wedding venue. There are several hotels there including Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Baymont by Wyndham. You are welcome to stay at these hotels as well if you do not need transportation from Roanoke. Please see the Uber/Lyft note above.

Airbnb

There are lots of Airbnb options in the Roanoke area- more will become available closer to the wedding date. We recommend staying in the Downtown area so that you can best utilize the shuttle and walk to downtown businesses including coffee shops, restaurants, bars, or shopping. Other close-by areas including Grandin (our neighborhood!), Old Southwest, and Wasena that all have businesses within walking distance as well, and are close enough for a quick ride Downtown to use the shuttle.
