One of our favorite brewery in the area. If you like IPAs, get the Get Bent (Ali mixes the orange and grapefruit flavors just for funsies). Best atmosphere with outdoor seating and occasional food trucks and live music!

Where we had our first date. It went pretty good, one could say.
Three Notch'd Craft Kitchen and Brewery - Roanoke
We spent the first year of dating going to what we called "Three Notch'd Thursdays". Happy Hour M-F 3-6pm!

Roanoke City Market
Visit Historic City Market in the middle of downtown, but outside of City Market Square along Market Street, there is a weekly Farmer's Market where you can find vendors on Sat/Sun mornings!
Roanoke River Greenway
Our gorgeous greenway runs along the river. You can walk right past the hospital Ali works at! A lovely place for a morning walk.
Mill Mountain Star
An iconic Roanoke landmark overlooking our little city. You can also hike to the top from the Mill Mountain Trailhead
Sharp Top Mountain
One of our favorite hikes. Fun fact- this was Fletcher's first big hike (he loved it)!
Dragons Tooth Trailhead
Another one of our favorite hikes. Beware of the rock scramble!
McAfee Knob
If you're feeling like being active, this is one of the most photographed sites on the Appalachian Trail. How lucky are we that it's so close?
