Flights from the US will arrive in Belize City (BZE). From there, you have two options to reach Ambergris Caye: a 15 minute puddle jumper flight or a 1.5-hour ferry ride.

Tropic Air or Maya Air

Once your room is booked through the hotel, they can arrange flights for you on Tropic Air or Maya Air, or you can book them yourself—whichever you prefer. Roundtrip tickets are approximately $170 USD. After arriving at the international airport (BZE), the domestic terminal for Tropic Air and Maya Air is just a short walk from customs. While you wait for your flight, feel free to grab a beer or seltzer from the Belikin or Landshark kiosks—you’re officially on Belizean time!

Water Taxi - San Pedro Belize Express

It takes approximately 25 minutes from the international airport to the water taxi terminal. Shared transportation is available at a cost of $25 USD for the first person and $10 USD for each additional person. Ferry Route: Belize City -> San Pedro Tickets: Available for booking in advance or upon arrival. Tickets are approximately $30 USD one-way ($60 USD roundtrip). Schedule: The ferry departs Belize City every 1.5 hours. Payment: Most major credit cards are accepted (Visa, Mastercard, Discover).
