We have reserved a room block at the Avalon Hotel and Bungalows, which is also the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. What types of rooms are available to book through your room block at the Avalon Hotel?

Answer

We have a variety of rooms available at a discounted rate. There are king room suites, queen double bed suites, one bedroom king suites, and two bedroom bungalows available.

Will there be a shuttle from other hotels to the wedding venue?

Answer

No, the wedding venue and reception are at the Avalon Hotel where we have rooms blocked off to make it easy for our guests. If you choose to stay at a different hotel or Airbnb you will need to use Uber/Lyft.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and cocktail dresses! We would love to see bright colors and bold prints!

Answer

If you receive plus-ones, they will be mentioned on your formal invite. The wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only.

Yes, the hotel provides babysitting services! We will add more details when available.

Can I take pictures and videos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

No. We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We will have a photographer and videographer that's got that covered!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be outdoors! Since we will be in a desert climate during early May, expect temps in the high 80's during the afternoon, and temps in the mid 60's after sunset!
