Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ali Fisher and Curt Johnson
The Knoxville area is full of beautiful places to see and fun things to do! Let us show you a few of our favorites!
American Museum of Science and Energy

American Museum of Science and Energy

115 East Main Street, Oak Ridge, TN 37830
, (865) 294-4531

We visited this museum a few years ago on a family trip and had a blast! (Get it?) It's a fun and exciting way to learn about Oak Ridge, the Secret City, and its atomic past, as well as the future of nuclear energy and the science that makes it happen. If you're the kind of nerd who likes that sort of thing...

University of Tennessee Arboretum, Oak Ridge

University of Tennessee Arboretum, Oak Ridge

901 South Illinois Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830
, (865) 483-3571

This beautiful forest is what made me fall in love with Oak Ridge. We go walk under the trees every chance we get, and there's always something new to see. With miles of walking trails showcasing many different plants and ecosystems, it's easy to get lost, in a good way!

Worlds Fair Park

Worlds Fair Park

963 Worlds Fair Park Drive, Knoxville, TN 37916

Knoxville hosted the World's Fair in 1982, and since then this awesome park has become a favorite hangout spot. Green lawns, fountains, playgrounds, and festival stages are all connected by paved, accessible sidewalk paths. It's a beautiful place to relax and take it all in.

Schulz Bräu Brewing Company

Schulz Bräu Brewing Company

126 Bernard Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917
, (865) 415-3845

We came here and inadvertently walked right into Oktoberfest! It looks like a German castle, the beer is delicious, and the food is great! Roll out the barrel, and we'll have a barrel of fun! (This is also the place the nice old man taught Ali to Polka dance, so you never know what adventure might await you!)

Zoo Knoxville

Zoo Knoxville

3500 Knoxville Zoo Drive, Knoxville, TN 37914
, (865) 637-5331

Take a walk on the wild side at Zoo Knoxville! Plenty of fun for the whole family!

East Tennessee Historical Society and Museum

East Tennessee Historical Society and Museum

601 South Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902
, (865) 215-8830

Tennessee is a dream destination for our history buff friends! This museum is full to bursting with captivating exhibits and artifacts.

McClung Museum of Natural History & Culture

McClung Museum of Natural History & Culture

1327 Circle Park, Knoxville, TN 37996
, (865) 974-2144

Who doesn't love a Natural History museum? It's the next best thing to Jurassic Park!

Market Square Farmers' Market

Market Square Farmers' Market

Market Square, Knoxville, TN 37902
, (865) 805-8687

If you love fresh, local produce, flowers, baked goods, salsas, and artisan crafts, (let's be honest, who doesn't?) take your little hipster self down to the farmer's market! Just bring me back some zucchini bread, will you?

For all the days along the way
