We are college sweethearts! During our tenures at the College of Charleston we both lived in College Lodge residence hall, where Cory was a RA and Ali also worked for ResLife as a desk assistant in a different dorm. We were friends for over a year, but it wasn't until after a Fall Break trip to Disney World in 2016 that we decided to give dating a try.

December 28, 2023 - Cory planned a post-Christmas trip to Montreal, Canada where we explored the picturesque Christmas decorated streets of Old Port and enjoyed the quaint pubs and restaurants. In the evening we strolled to the river and Cory led us to the La Grande Roue De Montreal 200-foot-tall ferris wheel. We had the ferris wheel car to ourselves and the second the door closed and we started moving, Cory pulled out a little box! The city, river, and Christmas wonderland below faded away as Cory asked Ali to marry him - and she immediately said yes!

Ali and Cory live in northern Virginia where Ali works in student affairs at George Mason University and Cory does tip-top secret contractor work for the government. We love to travel (and competitively track the number of states and countries we have each visited), hang out with friends and family, try out new wineries and restaurants, and enjoy new TV shows and movies together (although The Office forever remains our favorite). We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all and we can't wait for June 7, 2025!
