If there’s one thing to know about Colt & Ali’s love story, it’s that Colt played the long game. The pair were introduced through their mutual friend, Michael (also one of Colt’s groomsmen) in Atlanta. Colt & Ali started out as friends & began spending most of their free time together. A few months into knowing each other Colt asked Ali out, Ali panicked & made an excuse to say no. A few months passed with requests for a date & Ali continued to make excuses to not go out with Colt. Ali, through her friendship with Colt, had finally started developing a friend group in Atlanta. She feared that if their dating experiment ended poorly, she would not only lose the wonderful friend she’d found in Colt, but also the new friends she’d made through him. Finally, after a few months of no’s, Colt made one last ditch effort of asking her out before giving up & Ali (with Katie’s, Ali’s Maid of Honor, counsel) agreed. The pair went out on their first date to Fellini’s Pizza in December 2018, got engaged at Lake Keowee in May 2021 & are tying the knot on September 24, 2022.
