Our entire bridal party will be getting tested for COVID in the 2 days prior to the wedding to ensure negatives all around. We are not requiring our guests to get tested before the wedding, however we strongly recommend doing so to ensure everybody's safety. Ain't nobody wants to be that person.
We will be providing red, yellow, and green wristbands for guests to display their social distancing preferences. At the reception, everyone will be required to check-in with our "temperature monitors" and check their name off our contact tracing list. For the safety of our guests, and as a requirement of the building, anyone with a temperature of 100.4° F or higher will not be allowed to enter.
Everyone is expected to wear masks while moving through the church and the reception venue. You will only be able to remove your masks while seated in your pew or at your table. Unfortunately, if you refuse to wear a mask, you will be escorted outside. We will be providing additional masks for anyone who may need (or for whoever gets extra sweaty on the dance floor!)
The reception will be less than 25% of the venue's capacity, and the venue will be complying with current social distancing orders. Please follow the directional signage and ground markings to best navigate common areas and the dance floor. While dancing, please follow the visual breaks to maintain appropriate social distancing.
We will be serving individually plated meals and all food and beverages served will be done so by gloved and masked catering staff. There won't be any bars, so all beverages - alcoholic and otherwise - will need to be ordered from a member of the staff and brought to you. The cocktail hour will have a designated "eating space". Please follow the signage for the appropriate places for eating and drinking. All silverware & glassware will be disinfected via high-temperature D/W-cleaning and the tables set less than 2 hours before arrival.
The venue has mandated 1 COVID enforcement officer and 2 off-duty police officers to ensure that everyone is following the rules. (We requested them to be dressed as Stormtroopers, but our request was denied.) We've been assured that the staff is friendly and will be very respectful, but they do have the right to escort anyone out who is not complying with our guidelines.
Yes, we will be providing valet parking at the Alfred I. Dupont Building for the entire evening's events.
The bride and groom will be staying at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami Friday and Saturday night.
Yes, we have a formal dress code.
Traffic downtown can be very slow, so please give yourself ample time to arrive, drop your car off at valet, walk to the church, and take your seat.
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair.
Our registry is available on the registry tab of this site.
We have food options to accommodate most everyone. If you have any specific requests, please reach out to Christine directly.
