NAOUSSA Naoussa is a charming town that beautifully blends traditional and modern culture. The vibrant village life, with its colorful fishing boats, dedicated fishermen, and celebrated seafood delicacies, harmonizes seamlessly with its welcoming tourism. Built amphitheatrically, Naoussa features picturesque traditional houses, winding paths, arches, and historic churches. In the summer, these taverns are bustling with locals and tourists alike, enjoying seafood and ouzo. PARIKIA TOWN Parikia town is the capital of Paros island. It is a wonderful town with narrow walkways through the traditional town with great little cafes, pubs and ice-cream bars. Also home to a number of historical sites and churches. The old town is centered around the remains of a 13th century Venetian Castle and is accessible through a maze of winding streets.
LEFKES MOUNTAIN VILLAGE Lefkes is located at the highest point of Páros and enjoys stunning views of the island. The village is set up in the mountains and is surrounded by a rich green landscape. It has very well preserved Cycladic and neoclassical buildings, beautiful squares and narrow marble alleys. A throwback to medieval times. MARPISSA Founded in the 15th century, Marpissa is a traditional village with a distinctive medieval character. It is located on a hill, a few kilometers away from the famous beaches of Logarás and Písso Livádi. You can also visit the impressive Monastery of Ayios Antonios (17th century) on the hill of Kéfalos, where the ruins of a 15th century Venetian castle stand, and enjoy a wonderful view of the sea.
PISO LIVADI This coastal summer and tourist resort, is situated at a distance of 18 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia), at the eastern coast of the island. The idyllic port it is protected to the north east from Paros marble blocks and offers an ideal anchorage for fishing boats and small yachts. Along the promenade there are several cafes and restaurants. VALLEY OF BUTTERFLIES (PETALOUDES) The Valley of the Butterflies is a must-see, with just a 2-euro entry fee, making it a great stop on your way from Parikia to Pounda. Located near the village of Psychopiana, Petaloudes is an area of breathtaking beauty. The lush habitat is rich in vegetation and flowing water, with tall plane trees, laurels, wild olive trees, and carob trees covered in ivy, all providing a home to the Panaxia quadripunctaria butterfly species.
ANTIPAROS To the west of Paros lies its smaller sister island Antiparos. At its narrowest, the channel between the two islands is less than 2 km wide. For those looking for a remote escape you can take a day trip to Antiparos (10 min ferry ride from Pounta). The most famous sight on the island of Antiparos is its cave. This natural wonder has a long history and the oldest stalagmite in Europe.
SALTY BAR This bar is located by the sea in the small Port of Naoussa- a very idyllic setting for the first afternoon drinks- and is one of the best places on the island for evening entertainment. SOMARIPA CONSOLATO The owner converted his grandparents' house into a café-bar, creating a wonderful shop with special corners. Sommaripa Consolato is a wonderful place with a unique view from its balcony of the Aegean Sea, just above the cosmopolitan small port of Naoussa. COME BACK Its name was most likely not given by chance, since one returns here for the unique view. At "Come Back" you take a table outside and gaze at the sea while indulging in premium drinks and cocktails. The best time is undoubtedly just before sunset, to enjoy a unique sunset. In the evenings, the scene changes as the rhythms pick up and "Come Back" emerges as one of the island's favorite bars.
FOTIS "Fotis all day bar" starting early in the morning for coffee, breakfast or brunch, breakfast takes off with sweet and savory pancakes, a variety of egg recipes, and burgers.
