Jocelyn is Marquis’ sister and someone Alexus quickly came to cherish as family. From the very beginning, Jocelyn welcomed Alexus with warmth and kindness, making her feel right at home. She brings a joyful spirit, a great sense of humor, and unwavering support to the people she loves. Alexus feels incredibly grateful to not only gain a sister-in-law, but a true friend. Jocelyn is an Operations Support Specialist with Virtual Preparatory Academy of Georgia.

Milizhia and Alexus met at church and formed a meaningful friendship grounded in faith and encouragement. Milizhia is the friend who will randomly text to ask how she can pray for you, always offering support exactly when it’s needed. Alexus deeply admires Milizhia for her strength, resilience, and the way she uplifts those around her. Milizhia is a published author and a Human Resources Business Partner Specialist with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

Robyn is Alexus’ sister-cousin. Their relationship goes far beyond simply being cousins. In every sense of the word, Robyn has been a sister to Alexus. She has been there through both the good and the challenging moments, always knowing exactly what to say and how to show up with love and support. Alexus also credits Robyn for one very important thing—her love of lip gloss, which began when Robyn applied lip gloss to her at just one year old. Robyn is an Investigator for Union County Public Schools.

Tiffani and Alexus met while attending Paisley Middle School, where Tiffani quickly took Alexus under her wing. With Alexus in sixth grade and Tiffani in eighth, Tiffani helped Alexus navigate those early middle school years and has been looking out for her ever since. Their friendship has been filled with laughter and plenty of adventures together that are probably best left unwritten. Just as Tiffani helped Alexus navigate middle school years ago, after marrying her husband Jeremy in 2024, she has also been a helpful guide as Alexus prepares for her own wedding. Tiffani is a Senior Enterprise Risk Consultant for Fannie Mae.
