I met Chris in 2002 starting at Austin College in the lovely town of Sherman, TX. Somehow he put up with my "we should have corporate nation-states, man" phase, and we became fast friends. He's been one of my best friends ever since.

One of the best gal pals a girl could ask for! Through ups and through downs, this guy .... well frankly is apathetic and indifferent. BUT, sometimes it makes for a good dynamic. In this case, it certainly works. Whether it's playing video games, plotting a hostile takeover or 4 hours of pointless arguing, I know it's going it's going to be a good time. (and probably not appropriate for the general public)

Maliko is like a sister to me, we've been friends since college and roommates at various times and levels of craziness in our lives. Good times. She's currently an Alaskan wild-woman, so we don't get to talk as much, but when we do, it's like no time has passed at all.

I know everything will be okay (No, AWESOME) when she's around. From lunch dates to festivals, I can't imagine my life would be as wonderful if she wasn't in it.

When my kids and I started our new life back in south Austin, I has no idea that I was planted right where I was meant to be. Sakoiya started off as just next door neighbor. She turned into my neighbor bestie, Nora's cousin and honestly damn near co-parent. She helped me and cared for my family like we were part of hers. And now, she's a mother to her beautiful daughter, Olive, and I have no doubt she's going to rock it!
