The Wanamaker Light Show

The Wanamaker Light Show

A cherished Philadelphia holiday tradition since 1956, the Wanamaker Light Show features a display of over 100,000 LED lights synced to music, narration, and the historic Wanamaker Organ, the largest pipe organ in the world. Located in the same building as the Crystal Tea Room, the show (and new holiday market!) make for an easy and festive stop between our ceremony and cocktail hour. Showtimes: 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30

Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market

One of the oldest and largest public markets in the country. Just a few blocks away from the Crystal Tea Room and our hotel blocks. Our Recommendations: Dutch Eating Place: Sit down breakfast Pennsylvania Dutch style. There’s always a line, but it moves fast! Beiler’s Donuts: Amish bakery with fresh-made donuts all day. Get the maple bacon, apple fritter, or vanilla crème. Tommy DiNic’s: Get the Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe and Long Hots or Roasted Peppers (Voted Best Sandwhich in America in 2012!) Hershel’s East Side Deli: Think Katz Deli, but in Philly. Get the Pastrami Rachel on Rye. Uncle Gus’ Steaks: A newer top Philly cheesesteak. Cooper Sharp Cheese, with onions (Say "cooper wit" to order) -The Original Turkey: The best Gobbler sandwich you can get. (If you’re not over Thanksgiving yet)
