Welcome Picnic

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. No need to dress up — maybe bring a picnic blanket and some extra layers for warmth when it cools down.

We’re looking forward to a casual, joyful afternoon together before the big day! We'll have lite fare plus a variety of soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages due to park rules. It’s a come-as-you-are, drop-by-if-you-can kind of afternoon — picnic-style with sunshine and laughter. There’s a grassy area for lounging, picnic tables, and a nearby playground for kids. It’s a laid-back, family-friendly spot with parking around the park on East & Sidney, off Buena Vista Ave, near the baseball field, and down Thalia St.

Morning After Brunch

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Casual Attire. Note that it is much cooler under the trees and you may need to dress for chillier temperatures!

We will have a small gathering on Sunday to bid farewell to all our family and friends in Old Mill Park under the redwoods. There will be some breakfast treats, including coffee, bagels, and fresh fruit. There are bathrooms and a playground across the street (which can be quite busy with cars driving by, so please be cautious).
