Bryce Resort Golf Course
Bryce resort offers an 18 hole PGA Championship course with stunning mountain scenery, tree-lined fairways, and refreshing views. Afterwards enjoy lunch at Bryce's onsite restaurant Copper Kettle.
Lake Laura
Take a nice walk around Lake Laura. This 2.5 mile loop is great for all skill levels! Start from the Lake Laura Beach Area, the parking lot at the base of the dam, or the boat launch parking lot on the southern end of the lake.
Cave Ridge Vineyard
Cave Ridge Vineyard is a family owned and operated winery opened from 12-6. Reservations can be made on their website including a reserve tasting experience offered on Saturdays.
Swover Creek Farm Brewery
Swover Creek Farms & Brewery is a small, craft brewery serving delicious homemade food and wood-fired pizzas in a relaxing, rustic country setting
Muse Vineyards
Muse Vineyards is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley featuring panoramic views, a self-guided nature trail, the tranquil grounds of a European-style vineyard, and a first-class wine tasting room. Thursday-Saturday: Noon-8pm (Last Call/Kitchen Closes 7:30pm) Mon-Sat menu changes daily but always features 2-3 entrees, 3-4 shareable dishes, a few snacks, and a dessert
Wolf Gap Vineyard and Winery
Winery located 20 minutes from Bryce resort which includes beautiful grounds and views from the tasting room. Be sure to try their blueberry wine when visiting!
Showalter’s Orchard & Greenhouse
Local and Orchard and Cidery located ~20 minutes from the resort. Not far from JMU, this was a fall date staple in college. Beautiful views, delicious cider, and mid- September should have golden delicious apples to pick as well!
Lost River State Park
Cross over the border into West Virginia to check out some rewarding views at Lost River State park. We hiked this trail during COVID and had it all to our ourselves!
