What is the attire for wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Cocktail Casual! Dress it up or dress it down based on your comfort level. Ladies be mindful of natural terrain and stick to block heels and flats. Women: Dresses, jumpsuits, block heels, flats (shoes capable walking in grass and gravel) Men: Khakis or dress pants, collard shirts

Where does the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at the top of a ski mountain at Bryce resort. We will be transporting guests to and from the mountaintop by your choice of Ski lift ride (Bride and Grooms choice) or shuttle ride. If there are any transportation concerns or additional questions, please contact our wedding coordinator, Jackie Moe (jackie@heartfeltevents.net).

What does the welcome party entail?

Answer

We are kicking off the weekend of celebrations with any family and friends that have traveled in a night early (Friday, Sept. 15th). We will have music, drinks, and appetizers available to welcome everyone and get the party started!

What food options are available within Bryce resort?

Answer

Bryce resort has a few dining options on-site as well as some options to stock up your home or condo rental with a few essentials Groceries - There is a grocery store (Food Lion) in Mt. Jackson by Interstate 81, which is about 15-20 min from the resort. Once in Basye, there is local community store/ gas station that has a small selection of a bit of everything (basic grocery items, beer/ wine, frozen pizzas, toiletries, etc). Lunch/ Dinner - Copper and Kettle restaurant (attached to where the welcome party will be held) is an American restaurant on-site open at 4:00 PM on Friday, and 11:00 AM on Saturday. Reservations are recommended for dinner, especially with groups over 5 people. Dessert - Smileys Ice cream, located next to Freeds Biscuit company

How do I get to and from the reception?

Answer

For guests staying in the resort, please park in the large lot outside the Shenandoah center (cars can stay overnight) and then meet on the patio to be transported to the mountaintop ceremony. There will be a shuttle bus available to bring guests from the reception back to their rental within the resort. Resort guests will only have shuttle options available to take them home from the reception, but not to the wedding ceremony. Hotel guests - Driving is an available option as well utilizing the lot outside of the Shenandoah Center. Keep in mind the ride from the hotel to the resort is ~25 to 30 minutes and includes some windy roads.

What is available at the top of the mountain?

Answer

VIEWS, please enjoy the ride up and take pictures while we get ready for the start of the ceremony. We will have water available to combat any heat. There is also a porta potty available.
