Travel Note

Transportation

We are providing a transportation service to and from the venue (for those who have indicated the need for wedding day transportation). The meeting point is outside of Sami Beach Hotel, with a pickup time at 2:45pm. It will be the only pickup time available, as the venue opens at 3pm and ceremony begins promptly at 3:30pm. The transportation provided will be two black Mercedes minivans. For those driving themselves, the venue allows free street parking. Uber, Lyft, and similar forms of transportation are not available on the island of Kefalonia. Taxis are available and your chosen hotel should be able to book one for you. If not, local taxi services are available for booking at your convenience as well as "hailing one" on the street in certain areas. Also, rental cars are an option. If you choose to rent a car, please check through your rental car agency if an International Driver's License is required (it is sometimes the case).
