Matron of Honor
Alexis and I met our freshman year of high school in honors biology, and truly bonded during our time on the swim team together. We were fortunate enough to both be transferred to Rodriguez High School our sophomore year, where I’m fairly confident we had at least 5 out of 6 classes together, and we were on the swim team and water polo team. It’s no wonder we became such good friends and have remained so throughout the many changes life has thrown at us. I am truly excited to witness this special day!
Maid of Honor
I’ve known Lex since our college days at Sonoma State. We were both English majors, and we bonded over writing and literature (among other things). If you need proof, ask us about our matching semicolon tattoos! I’ve been waiting for this day for far too long, and I’m excited to get this girl married! :) I am looking forward to spending this very special day with all of you.
Bridesmaid
I met Alexis in 2009 through a mutual friend. We instantly bonded over our love for One Tree Hill and various bands. Little did I know that we would become so close! We’ve traveled together, worked together, and attended many concerts over the years. Alexis was a bridesmaid in my wedding, and I am so excited to return the favor and be a bridesmaid in hers! Our lives have gone in various different directions, but I’m so excited to be a part of this journey with her!
Bridesmaid
I am known best by Alexis as her teacher BFF. I love hanging with my dog, reading a good book, teaching rad teenagers, riding my bike, and taking long walks on the beach (I’d actually prefer long walks in the mountains). I’m from Sacramento, CA and I teach high school English. Fun fact #1: I’m the youngest one in the bridal party and often get mistaken for a student. Fun fact #2: I’m here to remind Alexis that she’s “still young” (her words, not mine!). Alexis and I met as first-year teachers 3 years ago and everyone thought we were sisters because we both wore glasses and had red hair. Then we both dyed our hair blonde. The rest is history! We have decided to stop dying our hair the same color though. :) I am honored to be a part of Alexis and Vito’s wedding.
Best Man
I’m Vito's first cousin; we met 33 years ago when we were just babies. Tons of stories come to mind, but I’m going to keep those for the wedding. I’m just going to share a couple fun facts! Vito no longer likes the Chargers (which is a huge deal if you know Vito). He owned Mario Puzo's book "The Sicilian" at the ripe age of 11. He owns an original Pac-Man table. At one time, he was a practitioner of Tai-Kwan-Do. Vito was a die hard fan of Dan Marino, even though he was not on the San Diego Chargers. Vito and I have the same middle name. Vito and I were vampires for consecutive Halloweens throughout our elementary school careers. I’m truly honored to be a part of this special day and I’m extremely happy for Vito and Alexis. I can’t wait to celebrate this amazing day with all of you.
Groomsman
I am Vito’s first cousin, on his fathers side of the family. He and I go back a long way; from wearing diapers to hanging out in college. We have years and years of good stories to tell. And after this wedding, we will have the best story of all.
Groomsman
I've known Vito since middle school, maybe earlier. I'm not quite sure how we first met, maybe because we're both a little older now and I can't remember as much as I'd like to. If you knew us in high school, you'd know Vito and I were really good friends, probably the best of friends, and to be honest, there's not many memories of my childhood I have without Vito. As life goes on, you kind of grow up and apart from a lot of your childhood friends but Vito and I always stayed in touch, and I'm very thankful for that. Good people are hard to come by and I'll call Vito a great friend for a long time. Lex is getting one of the best guys I've ever met and I wish them both nothing but good health, happiness, love, and laughter. I look forward to sharing Vito and Lex's special day! Mazel Tov.
Groomsman
I met Vito when he was working at Bank of America in historic downtown Monterey. Shortly thereafter, we became classmates in law school and close friends. Vito is a loyal friend, has a bright mind, is not afraid to speak up for what he believes in, is passionate, and will be an awesome partner for his wife (and great father should he decide to have kids). Congrats Vito!
