Alexis and Ryan met in 2015 while working at Chubb Insurance in New Haven, CT. Their first official date took place in 2017 when Ryan invited Alexis to attend his sister’s wedding, at which time Alexis met Ryan’s entire family but insisted they were “just co-workers”. A few short months later, Alexis attended Thanksgiving in Buffalo, NY with Ryan’s family - no longer “just co-workers”. Alexis and Ryan moved into their first apartment together in 2018. They purchased a condo in 2023 where they reside with their cats and gecko: Barlow, Poppy, Mac (R.I.P), and Rex. Ryan proposed to Alexis in 2023. They cannot wait to get married in 2024!

It was Alexis’ 31st birthday, November 10, 2023. They enjoyed a date night and delicious Italian dinner, finished with an all-chocolate cake (Alexis’ favorite) at home. Ryan gifted Alexis a special edition Harry Potter book (Also Alexis’ favorite) and hid the engagement ring among the pages. Alexis said “I Will” on November 10, 2023 – Alexis and Ryan will say “I Do” on November 2, 2024.
